Artists, don’t miss out on booth space at O’Fallon’s 3rd Annual Celebration of the Creative fine arts festival, which will be held from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, in Fort Zumwalt Park, O’Fallon, Missouri 63366. The deadline for submissions has been extended to Saturday, August 14.
“We have just a few 10 x 10 spaces left, and they come with a tent canopy, table and chairs,” said Darren Granaas, O’Fallon’s Cultural Arts Coordinator. “Right now, we are looking for artists in a variety of media, such as mosaics, paper-making, book-making, fabric art, photographic processes, mixed media, wood carving, instrument-making, pottery, and sculpture. We are encouraging artists to demonstrate their art. And we would like to see artists who also work with kids.”
“Admission and parking will be free, and the public can enjoy gourmet items from local restaurants, coffee houses, breweries and wineries,” added Granaas. “We’ll also have free activities for kids, and tours of the historic Darius Heald House will be available at $2 per person.”
The Celebration of the Creative art festival is sponsored by the Cultural Arts Division of the O’Fallon Parks and Recreation Department.
