Patrons are invited to enjoy games and giveaways on special days at O’Fallon’s Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center, 403 Civic Park Drive (in Civic Park), O’Fallon, Missouri 63366.
Saturday, July 31, is “Alligator Day,” an all-day event of fun, games and prizes, including alligator and turtle races on inflatables.
Sunday, August 1, is “Buddy Day.” In honor of National Friendship Day members can bring a friend to Alligator’s Creek for half-price admission. (One half-price admission per member.)
Sunday, August 8, is “Hawaiian Day,” and the first 100 people through the gates will receive a colorful lei.
Alligator’s Creek is open daily through August 22, and then on weekends only through Labor Day, September 6. Hours are: noon – 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., and noon – 7 p.m. on Sundays. The aquatic center’s features include two water slides, two pools, a lazy river, a water playground, zero-depth beach entry, beach-side water play for toddlers, and concessions.
Daily resident admission is $3 for children and seniors (65+), and $4 for adults. For non-residents, admission is $4 for children and seniors, and $5 for adults. Directions: On I-70, take Exit 217 at Highway K/M (Main Street); turn north on Main Street for about one-half mile, cross the railroad tracks and make an immediate left onto Civic Park Drive. Alligator’s Creek is on the right about three blocks down.
