An exhibit of artwork by students in the Fort Zumwalt School District is currently on display through Friday, July 16, at the O’Fallon Cultural Arts Center Gallery in the Renaud Spirit Center, 2650 Tri Sports Circle, O’Fallon, Missouri 63368. Gallery admission is free, and the exhibit will be available for viewing during regular business hours at the recreation complex, which are:
· 5:15 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday – Friday
· 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Saturdays
· 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sundays
The exhibit is composed of 12 pieces selected by O’Fallon’s Cultural Arts Coordinator, Darren Granaas, from a Fort Zumwalt School District show held at the St. Charles Community College earlier this year.
“I was the judge and picked four elementary school, four middle school and four high school pieces,” said Granaas. “They are mixed media, oil painting, watercolor and collage, and it’s a very interesting exhibit. Student artists range from second-grade to high school seniors. I hope everyone takes the time to stop by and see the artwork created by our talented local students.”
